Tesla's Robovan: Features, Price, Interior & Exterior Appearance

A billionaire and CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk unveiled Tesla's Robovan in a "We, Robot" event that held in Burbank, California on Oct. 10, 2024. The event showcased other new Tesla innovations, the Robotaxi and humanoid Optimus robot.

The Robovan designed to carry up to 20 passengers or transport goods. It is a fully autonomous vehicle with no visible wheels, steering, windshield and drivers cockpit. No need of a driver, the Robovan can drive by itself.

Exterior

The Robovan looks like a train with no visible wheels. It has silver metallic sides, black accents and light strips along the sides and a sliding door.

At the front and back of the Robovan there are large compartments where passengers can store their luggage.

Interior

Inside the Robovan, there are rows of seats that face each other, white walls and the windows are tinted. Since it is fully autonomous, it lacks steering, windshield and driver's cockpit.

Elon Musk also revealed that the vehicle will feature an automatic load-leveling suspension system, adjusting its height based on road conditions. 
Thus, this vehicle will have an ability to handle rough roads too.

However, details like cost, production plan and release date remain unclear. Probably Tesla will give us clear details later.
