All you need to know is the difference between salary and remuneration.
A salary is a weekly, monthly or bi-monthly payment received by an employee from an employer. It is usually shown in a job contract.
Remuneration is a total compensation received by an employee from an employer. It includes salary, bonuses, commission, perks and other financial and nonfinancial benefits.
A salary doesn't include benefits and rewards as remuneration does.
