What is Intangible reward?

Intangible rewards are non-physical rewards which haven't monetary value. They are given to employees to show appreciation for the performance or contribution they offered within an organization. They are aims at making employees feel valued by their emplyers rather than giving them financial benefits.


Examples of intangible rewards includes, 

  • Thanking and praising employees
  • Recognition
  • Freedom At Workplace
  • Good working condition
  • Letting employees have freedom in performing their tasks
  • Allowing employees to select the tasks
  • Offering Training programs
  • Flexibility
