Tangible reward is a material or physical reward an employee receives from an organization as an appreciation for accomplishing a task or performing well in a job. Tangible rewards are visible, touchable and countable. They are external forces or extrinsic motivators which boost employees working morale and increase their performance even if they are not interested in a job. Examples of tangible rewards are bonuses, salary increase, commissions and gift cards.
