Facebook is a very huge platform with billions of users, most of business owners use Facebook as the mean of reaching customers and driving traffic to their websites. Thus, when a website is blocked means loosing of traffic because the website can't be shared on Facebook any more.

You might be asking your self why Facebook has blocked your website?. In most cases, it is not easy to address the actual reason that caused your website to be blocked. 1. Verify if Facebook has really blocked your website.

Firstly, you are recommended to check to be sure if your website is actually blocked by Facebook. You don’t have to go through the trouble of filing a report if this is not actually the problem you are facing.

To accomplish this, you will have to use Facebook’s Sharing Debugger tool

Enter your website URL in the box then click the Debug button. If your your website was blocked you will see an error message which says "Facebook can’t review your site because it doesn’t follow the Community Standards".

If you see that message continue to the next step.

2. Review Facebook’s community standards and make any necessary changes.

Before you assume that Facebook has blocked your website by mistake, you better review the Facebook community standards to be sure you have not accidentally violated any of them. Other wise your appeal will be denied and you are just wasting your time.

However, there is also a quick way to check recent violations through your Facebook business page.

To accomplish this, look for the Page Quality tab on your Facebook page. This page will show you any violations you have committed so you can resolve them.

If everything checks out here and your review of the Community Standards doesn’t turn up any other possible violations, you can move on to appealing your case to Facebook.

3. Resubmit Your Website to Facebook for Consideration.

If you think every thing is okay and your website is ready for the review, you can submit a request back in a sharing debugger tool by clicking a "let us know" link in the error message.

This will direct you to a submission form where you have to explain why do you think Facebook has made a mistake to block your website.

After finishing the appealing process, Facebook will unblock your website within few days. However, it can take long up to 30 days to get the response from Facebook, so be patient. You can resubmit again if you don't receive the feedback for a long time.
